Beheadings are so wild to see in this show. I remember both beheading episodes. The first one, with the blood just pouring out - gross.

And the second one with the guy who had her head in his sweater - also gross.

Although, I feel for this one, the rope wouldn't have been able to sever his neck. Although I'm not a doctor.

you forgot "Hattori Heiji and the Vampire Mansion" eps712-715. rich dude dying of some disease, obsessed he was a vampire, sent his illegitimate daughter a 'trick and murder' instruction filled letter. all so his daughter could get revenge for her mom/his dead mistress. then he chopped his own head off with a mini guillotine he owned. then, his daughter could use his own head in the spooky tricks and revenge murders. problem was, rich dude's letter and head got intercepted by another family member who used the head and tricks himself.

the car would have jerked the body out of the tree growing out of the side of the cliff before removing the head. unless the body was caught in a tree crook or tangle. which it wasn't, the body was clearly shown just laying atop the foliage of the tree. the head was also clearly shown in another tree parallel to the first and slightly lower down the cliff. that whole shot was utterly impossible.

Kansuke seems changed a lot ( everything he says/doing and his personality )

ahhhh... mmm... nope. he was just like this during the crushed centipedes case when he was first introduced in Conan. he seriously SERIOUSLY gets pissed and grumpier and even more terse when he's concentrating hard on a complex case.

he gets more cheery and cracks jokes and banters when he's relaxed. he even has a rough and dark but still playful sense of humor.

there was an episode where Haibara and Prof. A get stuck in the boonies because his Beetle breaks down. the tow truck can't fit Ai and the Prof. but when they walk to the nearest bus stop... the Prof. realized he left his wallet in the Beetle. so the two are stuck and can't buy a bus fare. Kan-chan and his 'girlfriend' Yui pick up the pair in an undercover sedan. but Kansuke is asleep in the front passenger seat. Ai sees bullet holes in the back of the sedan's cabin and thinks the two folks are 'bad guys'. neither of the police officers is even professionally dressed, just casual peculiar clothes that might or might not be disguises. Kansuke's eye scar is barely visible because he has his hat pulled way down to sleep. he makes a few funny but very dark and threatening jokes to Yui off and on in-between his naps and Ai and the Prof call Shinichi in a quiet panic about 'the bad guys'. their description pings Shin's recall of Yui and Kan-chan's eye. so Shin sends the pair on a interstate highway shop and rest and refuel and eat location... little run away and hide and wild-goose-chase with the two cops. this is just to stall everybody so he can zoom up on his electric skateboard annnd laughingly show Ai and the Prof that their 'bad guys' were actually two cops.

Yui even jokes with Kansuke a little in the last scene, 'your humor is still too gallows dark Kan-chan. you scared the cute little girl.' Ai just 'humpf' huffily pouts a little.

Erm.. I'm not a good reader, is your point, kansuke only has other personality in the past episodes and just become natural in this episode?

when he's on a case, Kan-chan is 'grumpy'. when he's not on a case, he's got a dark and kinda morbid sense of humor, but he's a nicer guy those times. :)

That's what l had thought that as a plot hole but to think that it ended up part of the plan to let culprit's guard down.😯
